The Plan of Salvation: A Journey of Love and Grace

The Pattern: God’s Original Intent
The plan of salvation begins with God Himself, our So Worthy Master Designer. He created you with purpose and love, and His original intent was for us to live in perfect harmony with Him.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
The Rip: Our Separation
Just as a beautiful fabric can be torn, our sin broke our relationship with a perfect, just and loving God. This separation is something we cannot repair on our own.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23 NIV)
The Mend: Jesus Christ
God didn’t leave us in our brokenness. He sent His Son, Jesus, to bridge the gap and mend what was torn. Jesus took our place in death, so we could be restored to life.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 NIV)
The New Creation: Our Response
Salvation is a free gift, but like any gift, you must be accept it in order for it to be received. By trusting in Jesus, we are not just “patched up”—we are made into a completely new creation.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV)
The Invitation: Your Turn
This journey begins with a simple step of faith. You are invited to talk to the Designer today.
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9 NIV)
“It’s your turn to respond to the Designer. If you are ready to be made a new creation, pray this prayer right now:”
“Heavenly Father, I come before You today, acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of Your divine grace. I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross to redeem me from all unrighteousness. I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead, and He is alive and listening to me now.
Lord Jesus, I accept Your precious gift of salvation. I turn from my past ways and invite You to come into my heart and take full control of my life. Make me the person You desire me to be, cleansed and renewed by Your Spirit. I ask You to forgive me of my sins and grant me eternal life. Cleanse me, Lord, of every bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, strife, pride, greed, rejection, and rebellion that has held me captive. I choose to forgive those who have wronged me, releasing them and myself from those bonds.
Break every stronghold in my life, and shatter the power the enemy has held over my soul. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, guiding me to live righteously according to Your Word and to walk in Your perfect will for my life. I acknowledge You before all men as my Savior and my Lord. Thank You for saving me and for the free gift of eternal life. I pray all of this in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.”
